Many Faces of Singularities in Robotics

چکیده

In this survey paper some issues concerning a singularity concept in robotics are addressed. Singularities analyzed the scope of inverse kinematics for serial manipulator, motion planning task nonholonomic systems and optimal control covering large area practical robotic systems. An attempt has been made to define term singularity, which is independent on specific task. A few classifications singularities with respect different criteria proposed illustrated simple examples. from numerical physical point view. Generally, pose problems and/or robots. However, as example force/momenta transformation manipulators, they can also be desirable cases. Singularity detection techniques methods cope them provided. The intended didactic help researchers get general view issue.

the many faces of supplier induced demand in health care

health economists look towards health care sector as a market whereby there is a distinct demand and supply phenomenon exists. dearth of regulation of the doctors' practices lead to inappropriate and unjustifiable demand for health care among the patients. in developing and under-developed countries, this adverse practice may push a poor family into a vicious circle of poverty and illness, espe...

Propagation of Singularities in Many-body Scattering

In this paper we describe the propagation of singularities of tempered distributional solutions u ∈ S of (H − λ)u = 0, λ > 0, where H is a many-body Hamiltonian H = ∆+ V , ∆ ≥ 0, V = P a Va, under the assumption that no subsystem has a bound state and that the two-body interactions Va are real-valued polyhomogeneous symbols of order −1 (e.g. Coulomb-type with the singularity at the origin remov...

The many faces of superradiance

Inertial motion superradiance, the emission of radiation by an initially unexcited system moving inertially but superluminally through a medium, has long been known. Rotational superradiance, the amplification of radiation by a rotating rigid object, was recognized much later, principally in connection with black hole radiances. Here we review the principles of inertial motion superradiance and...

The Many Faces of Empathy

In 1872, Charles Darwin published The Expression of the Emotion in Man and Animals (1). In it, he sought to link certain movements, such as humans raising their eyebrows when surprised, to the concept of evolution and a link to common animal ancestry. Darwin’s impact on the psychology of the emotions continues to be felt to this day and his book is still considered a classic. One of the problem...
